It was 5:54 A.M. and I was sitting on the charter bus to Washington DC. Everyone around me seemed so tired, but my clique (Ania, Shin Be, Jordyn, Aria and Megan) was wide awake. The bus took off not much later. We set off on our journey from Michigan to Washington DC. It was about 20 minutes later when I got bored.
"Are we going to watch a movie," I asked Mr. Morowski.
"I'm going to put one in right now," he said, holding up a disk.
In a few minutes, we were watching
Cheaper By the Dozen 2. It was a really good movie. It was about a family that had 12 kids (ages ranging from adulthood to, (I think) 5) They are having this mini competition against a rich family called the Murtaughs. After the movie, we went to a resp stop. We were a little past Sandusky, Ohio. I've been to Ohio a lot and know that their rest stops are really fancy. I also know that they have Starbucks. I knew everyone would want to go there, so I sped into the rest stop and got to Starbucks first.

I got a Vanilla Bean Frappaccino! After I ordered, the shop was crowded with 20 kids. After our 20 minutes off the bus, everyone was back on and ready to keep going. 4 hour later, we stopped at another rest stop in Pennsylvania for Lunch. There were so many choices! I knew I was running out of time, so I went to Popeye. It was really good. I loved it. Especially, because chicken is my favorite meat! After lunch, we got back onto the bus and continued our journey. We drove 5 more hours when we made it to Washington DC. We got there a head of schedule, so we were able to do some sight seeing.. The first place we saw, was the Arlington Cemetery. There were lines and lines of gravestones. We weren't actually there, but we could see it. It made me feel sad to think about all those people that died in the war. After 30 minutes of sight seeing we got back onto the bus and went to Pentagon City Mall for dinner and shopping. When we got there, we divided into our groups. I was in Mrs. Aquino's group with Teresa and Megan. We also hung out with Mrs. Roberts and Jordyn. Our group decided that we would try not to buy much so we could save our money. Our first stop was Claire's. The first thing we did, was ask for used gift cards to make jewelry with. Unfortunatly, they didn't have any. After going to Claire's, we went to Foot Locker. The walls were covered in shoes, but the only kinds that I liked were Converse.
