The Golden Fish
Once
there lived a man and his wife. Since the man was a fisherman they did not
suffer from hunger. One day he was fishing he cast his net into the ocean, and
caught nothing. He cast his net again, but only caught one fish but it was
golden. The fish started talking it said, “If you put me back into the ocean I
will give you 3 wishes.” The man said, “Wish one I want you on a dinner tray
fried next to steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and fish pie.” So the fish was
“delish” but there was no more wish. Most of us live happily ever after. (Well,
except maybe the fish.)
