AHW

I can't wait for Washington DC.  I get to wake up at 5 in the morning.  I mean, how often do you get to do that?  I especially can't wait to present at the conference.  I don't think that I'll get a lot of sleep tonight.  I feel like that I will explode of excitement!  When I'm excited, I can't sleep fast and I always wake up too early.  I want tomorrow to come so bad.

Seussical Auditions!

Today I auditioned for the school play today.  There's a play every year for the 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  This year, we're doing Suessical Jr!  I wrote a post before about who I'm auditioning for ,etc.  At auditions I was so nervous.  I could barely feel my legs.  But I felt a sudden burst of confidence.  I sang my song, only missing 1 rest and did my monologue the best as I could.  I really hope I have to go to call backs tomorrow.  But I won't find out until around 10:00 P.M.  I'll be asleep by then.  Right now I can just hope for the best.  *<;-D

I am going to be so busy next quarter.  I'm going to start the play, do Science Olympiad and Forensics!  My calendar is almost jammed pack.  Some people say thy don't like a busy schedule, but I love it.  I love having so many things occupying my mind at once!  I'm just the type of people who have to be doing something constantly.  A jam packed schedule is perfect for me!  With a jam packed schedule I can never complain of a boring life.

I can't wait to audition for the Seussical.  It's going to be so fun!  I love plays, I love the feeling of performing in front of large crowds.  That might seem a little crazy but, that's just how I am.  I am going to audition for Gertrude and Mayzie.  For those of you who don't know, the Suessical is a bunch of Dr. Seuss stories smashed together.  It concentrates the most on Horton Hears a Who.  Gertrude is a girl bird with a 1 feathered tail, who's in love with Horton.  She sort of a dorky and self conscious character, but she's also really sweet and always believes in Horton.  Mayzie on the other hand is a flamboyant girl bird who tries to help Gertrude catch Horton's eye.  Mayzie is a very self centered character who will rarely admit her flaws.

Continuing with the 5 nights at Freddy's post.

One time I was playing the game with Megan and Jordyn in the locker bay.  Megan saw Bonnie (The Bunny) near by and closed the door.

"You're wasting power," said Jordyn, "Open the door."

"No Bonnie's near by," said Megan.

"No she's not," said Jordyn, opening the door.

Megan went back to turning on the lights.  But the side where Jordyn opened the door wasn't working, and neither was the door.

"The doors aren't working," said Megan in a panicked voice.

"No they're not," said Jordyn taking the IPad.

She pressed the button but the light didn't come on!  Uh Oh.  Suddenly a purple bunny face jumped into the screen and made a loud screeching noise.  It was Bonnie.  Jordyn was so shocked that she dropped the IPad.

5 Nights at Freddy's

5 Nights at Freddy's

I love the game 5 Nights at Freddy's.  But there are some people who are better off not playing it.  I like the jump scares and all, but my favorite part is the back story.  5 Nights at Freddy's is a game where you're the new security guard at Freddy's Fazbear Pizzeria.  They have animatronic animals for entertainment, in the morning they're perfectly fine, but at night they wander the building.  Now here's the scary part.  If they see a human, they'll think that you're a robot not in their costume.  You're not allowed to be with out a costume, so they jame you into one, which kills you.  One time I was playing with Megan and Jordyn... I was on the bus after school with with Jordyn.  We were watching Thomas play 5 Nights at Freddy's.  I gave Erika my IPad to play it too.  Suddenly Erika and Maddie screamed.  That caused Jordyn to scream too.  She jerked back and slapped me in the eye.  it didn't really hurt, but my eye stung.

"Are you ok," asked Jordyn, worried.

"Yeah, but you just hit my eye," I replied, smiling.

"I'm so sorry" said Jordyn, covering her face.

Right when I got off the bus, a little part next to my eye started swelling because I was wearing my glasses.  After 30 minutes it was gone.  Now I know that there are some people that you should give some space when you're playing 5 Nights at Freddy's.  :)

It was a bright day in Late September.  The world looked like a cluster of red, yellow and orange.  Erika and I were playing in the leaves when the mailman came.  He dropped the mail off and moved onto Lauren's house.

"Race you to the mailbox," I challenged Erika.

I bolted down the driveway.

"Hey no fair.  You're faster than me," Erika yelled.

"To bad," I replied.

"Then I get to bring in half of the mail," Erika exclaimed.

"Fine," I said, giving in.

I opened the mail box and got the mail out.  There's so much, I thought, looking at the pile of papers.  I  gave half of the mail to Erika and started going up the driveway.  Suddenly, I felt a sharp, burning pain in my arm.  It felt as if someone lit a match and pressed it against my skin.  I whacked my arm with the newspaper and started running.  That's when Erika made a stupid move she ran back to the mail box to close the mailbox.  The sound of the mailbox closing, was shortly followed by a shrill scream and pouting.  We had to get rid of the wasps.  I first ran to my mom and told her...

One day I was walking around my neighborhood. I was trying not to be lazy and I had to get away from my harpsichord. The sun shone bright in the cerulean sky as I walked down the streets. I was feeling risky, so I decided to walk through the somber forest. Before I could get there the sky looked as if there was going to be a tempest. I got out my blue umbrella just in case. The sky was dark but it was still warm and there wasn't any rain. I guessed it was just the clouds. The somber forest didn't seem scary at first. But then the forest got dark. I kept walking and walking and walking. Ahhhhh! There was a white cloudy figure wandering around the trees. It looked like a cloudy, ghosty apparition. I quickly hid behind a tree, trying not to make a sound. I realized I made a bad decision. My boots crunched loudly in the leaves. The apparition started gliding over to the tree I was behind. Panicking I took out my phone and took a picture of the horrible creature. In the corner you can see the apparition. I felt the ghost put his hand over my mouth and start dragging me. Then I blacked out. Before I knew it I was in a cave. The apparition stood at the entrance. It didn't look so cloudy anymore and I could just make out a man about age 50.

“Who are you,” I asked, my voice shaking.

“Shmaefel,” the figure muttered.

I sat in the grey seat of the ride GateKeeper at Cedar Point, waiting for the ride to start.  Once we turned out of the station, we started our ascend.  As we got higher, all was silent, except the click, click, clicking of the chains.  As we neared the top I took a deep breath and readied myself for the twists and turns.  Suddenly my surroundings were a blur.  Screams blasted into my ears as the ride continued.  Before I knew it, the ride was coming to a stop.  I knew that I would have to come back to experience the thrill of all the dizzying twists and turns.

Washington DC

I can't wait for Washington DC *<:-), but I'm sorta bummed that not everyone will be there, because they weren't in Mrs. Roberts 2013-2014 Siracy Class :,-(.  The last time that I went to DC was when I was 3, so I don't really remember things that much (I still remember some).  I want to get something for my sister, I also want to get a snow globe.  I'm most excited to go on tours.  They seem very educational and fun.  I just can't wait to tell these people in D.C. about our amazing project.

Wasps!!!

Sportsway GoCart

It was a warm summer morning, July 26 to be exact.  The day my sister Erika turned 8.  It was a really exciting day because we were going to Sportsway (and sort of because Erika was turning 8)!  We were turning into Sportsway.  My parents, Erika, my cousins Samantha and Ryan and I walked over to the Go Cart track to decide what we would do.

"I want to do GoCartting," I proclaimed.

"I do to," said Erika.

"Ok, we'll go GoCarting," said my dad, going to buy tickets.

I loved GoCarting (even though I wasn't really good at it).  I liked the feeling of the speed and the G-Force.  My dad got 8 tickets and we headed to the line.  It was 10:00 A.M. and the lines were empty, a great time to GoCart.

"How many," said the helper sluggishly, apparently someone didn't get their morning coffee.

My dad gave him 4 tickets 2 single cars (for Samantha and I) and 2 double carts (For my Mom, Dad, Ryan and Erika).  Samantha and I ran over to the single cars in the garage area while everyone else went to the double cars in the garage.  I quickly hopped into the rainbow car.

"Hey, I wanted that car," said Samantha.

"Fine," I said hopping into a blue car infront of Samantha.

"I bet we can beat you," mocked Erika.

"You're on," I yelled back.

I put my feet on the gas and break peddle as the helper made his rounds through the maze of GoCarts.

"Do you know how to use the peddles." asked the man, still sleepy.

"Yeah," I replied, I wasn't dumb, "The one on the right is the go peddle and the left one is the stop peddle."

"No," he said.

I was definatly right.  The right one said "GO", the red one said "BREAK".  He must've been cross eyed or somthing because I was right.  Once he finished checking with us, he lifted the tire holding the cars back, and let us go.  I stompped down on the gas peddle and went whizzing infront of everyone.  Slow pokes, I thought.  I looked forward qnd realized that I was aproaching my first turn,180 degrees.  I grabbed the wheel and took the turn at the last minute.  The sharp turn gave me the feeling that I was falling.  I sped through the next turn and into the tunnel.  I looked back to see my dad and Erika on my tail.  I pushed the gas peddle all the way.  I had to beat them.  I had to prove Erika wrong.  I went throught the maze of twists and turns now farther from my dad and Erika.  Suddenly, I was surrounded by a cloud of smoke.  It burned my eyes like lemons in a cut.  Where was it coming from, I ask myself.  I realized that I was driving right next to Samantha.  The rainbow car that she was in, was creating a lot of smoke and a ch, ch, ch, ch noise.  It was probably the engine over heating because moments later, it stopped.  I wanted to stop and help, but the track was only wide enough for 2 cars.  I would've been blocking everyone else.  As I got back up to speed, I saw the sleepy man running over to her car.  He pulled this string a few times, like when you try to turn on a lawn mower.  Then she was up and moving again (the smoke was still pouring out the exhaust).  Was driving through a turn, I realized that my mom and Ryan were moving very slowly.  How was I going ti get passed them.  Then it hit me, they took big turns around each corner.  All I had to do was cut infront of them.  I aproched them at a staggering speed.  I bumped into them, but made it through. Behind me I heard again, the ch, ch, ch, ch.  It was Samantha.  Behind her trailed a big cloud of smoke.  I could no longer see my mom and Ryan.  I stepped onto the gas peddle harder then I had that day.  I sped through another round and then into the garage are.  I had won!  My dad and Erika came in next then came my mom and Ryan.  Then out of the blue, my cart was launched forward.  My head hit the stearing wheel and I almost flew out of the cart its self.  I later found out that Samantha didn't know how to use the brakes, so she sped into the garage area and crashed into me.  It was actually really fun, getting stuck in a cloud of smoke, crashing and the competative atmosphere.

Why do we waste our resources?

Why do we waste our resources?  That is the question.  Is it because some people already expect so much from life?  Is it because we are careless?  Is it because our population is growing?

Most people who waste natural resources have enough money to know where their next meal is coming from, etc.  They expect so much, so they waste.  The only people who really know how to treasure resources are those who lack it.  At school, we are helping people in rural Zambia by raising money.  They lack access to clean water, when we got them a 2 wheeled tractor, they were so happy.  If we gave a 2 wheeled tractor to a rich American farmer, they wouldn’t be too happy because they can buy it for themselves.

Mosquito Sneak Attack!

It was aproximately 9:30 P.M. In our living room, by the bay view window, playing piano.  Under the piano, a mosquito was hatching a plan to attack me. I played and played and played.  It was when I was playing le papillon that I felt something crawling down my arm.  I looked and found the mosquito making it's move.  This was no ordinary tiny mosquito, it was the size of a golf ball and it made a loud "Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz".  I screamed at the top of my lungs and took cover under a pillow.

"Daddy, there's a big mosquito," I screamed in fright, "Daddy!"

Mosquitos are my least favorite bug.  They suck your blood, can spread deadly diseases, and give you horribly itchy bump.  I'm usually not scared of little mosquitos, but this one was huge!  I kept screaming, and screaming.  Finally, my Dad came.  He tried to crush it with his hand, but it flew to the ceiling.  He went out of the room to grab the fly swatter.  Without my Dad in the room, the mosquito dived for me.  Using all the courage I had, I grabbed the pillow and whacked it.  I definatly hit it, but it wasn't going to give up.  I swung the pillow back and forth, intimidating the mosquito and maybe hurting it.  Then my Dad came in with the fly swatter.  As if scared by the dark blue of the fly swatter, the mosquito cowerd to the celing.  In one loud "THWACK!".  The mosquito fell towards the ground.  I looked at the limp mosquito just lying there.  It was over, and the mosquito had failed its ,,,,,,,,,mission.  Daddy: 1 Mosquito: 0.
