I am so bored right now.  I've finished the whole google classroom thing, but we can talk.  What is the world without socializing.  One of the parts of Language arts is Speaking, so we should be able to talk and socialize.

7/8 seems very scary, but that's how I thought about 5/6 when I was in 4th grade.  I guest I'll be alright, but I don't know what could happen.  That's what scares me.

I just got my teacher letter and realized that I got Whitmer.  I was a little disappointed because I had asked for a science teacher, but I'm really excited for 7/8.  But I'm really sad that they split up the crew we have in Joberts.  I'm really going to miss 6th grade.  I feel like I'm leaving so many memories behind.  But then again, I am really excited to start my 7/8 journey.

I'm really nervous about what teacher I'm going to have for 7th and 8th grade.  I don't really have a teacher preference, but I don't want to be separated from my friends.  I know that it's only for homeroom, but I'm still really nervous.

One day I was walking around my neighborhood.  I was trying not to be lazy and just try to get away from playing my Clarinet all day long.   The sun shone brightly in the cerulean sky as I stroll down the street.  To spice up such a boring event, I decided to take the path through the forest.  Before I could get close to the forest, the sky looked as if there was going to turn into a nasty tempest.  Luckily I got an umbrella with me before I left home just in case I was to get caught in the storm.  The sky quickly turn twilight black, yet strangely the air remain calm and warm.  It was such a rare feeling.  At first I thought it was just the clouds blocking the sun.  After 20 minutes of walking I finally got to the forest.  The somber forest did not seem scary at first.  But all the sudden, the forest turned dark right before my eyes.  As I kept on walking aimlessly on the path before me.  Ahhhhh!  All of the sudden, I saw a white cloudy apparition wandering around the trees a football field in length ahead of me.  I got so scared that I may have wet my paints.  I quickly duck and hid behind a gigantic white pine next to me and use my hand to cover my mouth trying to not make a sound.  Right at that moment I realized I made a bad decision.  My boots crunched loudly as I step on a thick pile of leaves fallen from the oak trees.  The apparition started gliding over to the pine tree where I was hidden behind.  Once it got closer I realized that it was the ghost of a child.  Her face looked clueless and her torn up dress was flowing behind.  I panicked and took out my phone to take a picture of the ghost and ran.  To this day I have never gone back.  In the corner of the picture you can clearly see the apparition.  A lost little ghost girl.

1) Oobleck:

You Need:

Cornstarch

Water

Food Coloring (optional)

Steps:

1) Mix the cornstarch and water in a bowl until it reaches a certain consistency that it looks like cake batter with no lumps

2) If you want, add in the food coloring. (Use only 1 color or it will most likely turn brown)

3) Try punching the Oobleck and then let your hand rest on it

2) Soap Souffle:

You Need:

Ivory Soap (Other Soaps Won't Work!!!)

A Bowl of Water

Paper Towel

Microwave Oven

Steps:

1) Put the bar of soap into the bowl of water

2) Cover it with a paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes on high

3) Let it cool before touching.  You can see that the soap has grown into a big puffy cloud-like shape.
