I sat in the grey seat of the ride GateKeeper at Cedar Point,
waiting for the ride to start. Once we
turned out of the station, we started our ascend. As we got higher, all was silent, except the
click, click, clicking of the chains. As
we neared the top I took a deep breath and readied myself for the twists and
turns. Suddenly my surroundings were a
blur. Screams blasted into my ears as
the ride continued. Before I knew it,
the ride was coming to a stop. I knew
that I would have to come back to experience the thrill of all the dizzying
twists and turns.
